EPFO (Employees Provident fund Organization) has recently launched ‘EPF Whatsapp Helpline Number’ for resolving grievances faced by its PF subscribers & Establishments (employers).
EPFO has assigned different Whatsapp contact numbers for all of its Regional Offices.
An EPF member can also submit his/her grievance to the EPFO through grievance online portal.

How to know which EPFO Regional Office Manages your EPF Account?
If you have to contact your EPF regional office, you need to know the which RO administers your EPF account. For this you need to understand your EPF Account format.
EPF Account Old Format Example:
KN / 1234567 / 7654321. KN (Karnataka) here denotes the State in which EPF office is located. ‘1234567’ is Establishment code (company code – Max 7 digits) and ‘7654321’ is your EPF account number (max 7 digits).
In case if your company has one or more branches they may mention it along with the Establishment code. For example: KN/1234567AAA/7654321. In this case ‘AAA’ is the extension number.
The EPF old format was based on the 22 states available with corresponding 2 characters of region code, as listed below.
EPF Account New Format Example:
New Region Code / EPFO Office code / Establishment code / EPF account number is the new format.
For example – PB / CHD / 1234567 / 7654321. PB denotes for Punjab, CHD for Chandigarh PF office, 1234567 stands for Establishment code & 7654321 is your EPF account number. So, you can submit your grievance to ‘Chandigarh PF regional office’ Whatsapp helpline number.
You can also find out the concerned EPF regional office based on your ‘establishment’ name (company/employer name).
How to find your EPFO Regional Office details based on the Establishment Name?
Let’s say you work for ‘Infosys Limited – Bengaluru‘. You can search for the concerned EPFO regional office that administers the EPF accounts maintained by your establishment (Infosys).
- Visit epfindia.nic.in.
- Click on ‘Services‘ tab and select ‘For Employers’ option.
- Scroll down to ‘Services’ section and click on ‘Establishment Search’ option.
- Enter your company’s name, key-in the captcha code and click on ‘Search’ button.
- Click on ‘View details’ of your establishment.
- Infosys has its own ‘PF Trust’ which is under the purview of the EPFO-Peenya regional office (as indicated in the above image). So, you can reach ‘Peenya’ PF office on their whatsapp helpline number @ 8023571377.

I had applied form 13 for transfer my previous pf account in new one. I had registered grievance also but not satisfied with solution. I had filled online form and reciept date mentioned in status is 28/07/2023. But till yet my claim is not approved and status showing not available. Reply of grievance is dear member your claim has been approved on 11/08/2023. Then why amount not transfered till yet? And in my passbook section claim showing pending. And again reply of grievance is your claim has been approved and forward to current pf office. Is this requires to forward to current pf office after approved from previous pf office

I submitted my partial pf withdrawal on 25th April 2021 under illness category. It still shows under process . Today is the 8-may 2021. I have a total of 112000/- in my pf amount. However my employee share is 85822/- i have asked for 75000/- . Do you think it would be approved and how soon will this be done. I am withdrawing partial pf for the first time. I have been in service since 7 years now. My pf office would be Maharashtra mumbai bandra. There is no whatsapp number . The number given on the website is landline phone number . I haven’t called that number as yet. But would be calling that number. And the grievance link that you have given earlier is also not working. Please help me with a new link for the grievances if possible. Please reply at the earliest possible.
