Where all Aadhaar is needed to be linked? | Supreme Court’s latest Judgement

  • True Indian says:

De-linking SIM cards with Aadhaar shall increase crime rate in India. Because Aadhaar is the key to identify a criminal when using phone.
Anyway, our mindless supreme court want more and more disputes, so it can survive in long run. SIM card de-linking with Aadhaar is more dangerous for safe civilized society.

    Dear Sreekanth

Will Aadhar be needed now after Supreme Court judgement for Vay Vandana Yojna managed by LIC for Senior Citizens.

Earlier they were insisting on it and also were linking it with bank account without consent of investor and later sending a message that it has been done on investor request. A clear case of high handedness.

Please let me know the position now.

    Regards.

  • On 3rd May 2018, the Government sought dismissal of Congress’s petition. The petition challenged the Lok Sabha speaker’s decision to designate the Aadhaar Bill as a money bill. The centre stated that the speaker’s say was final. It is not open to judicial scrutiny.

Is it necessary to link Aadhar with LIC Policy, Post office savings like KVP and NSC after the SC verdict of 27th Sep.2018? Pl. write to me at neerajg**@gmail.com.

    • Sreekanth Reddy says:

      Dear Neeraj,
As per my understanding, it is not be mandatory to link Aadhaar to Insurance policies.
Whereas, for Small Savings Schemes offered by the Govt, it can be made mandatory, but let’s wait to get more clarity on this!
