I had transferred epf from employer 1 to employer 2 after 17 yrs of service and transfered my epf online via portal , now after 1.5 years of service with employer 2 i have joined another firm that does not have epf/eps facility. currently i have opted for withdrawl of epf and during this process i realised that for eps we need to opt for scheme certificate as total server is more than 10 yrs.

my query is now i will i get scheme certificate for combined service with employer 1 and employer 2 or i have to take two certificates to claim eps after attaining age of 58yrs.

Dear Sir,

If you have transferred the EPF/EPS from Employer-1 to Employer-2 then your service gets carried forward.

So, your Scheme certificate from Employer-2 should ideally reflect the total service period.

Suggest you to kindly check with your employer-2 on this and claim the certificate. Do share your experience on this here, so that it can be helpful for other readers who have similar queries.
