The Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has made it mandatory to link Aadhaar number to Employee Provident Fund account. The EPFO has recently introduced most of its facilities online.
Now you can check your PF account balance, statements, submit online PF transfer claims (or) make partial/full withdrawal of money from your PF account online. But to avail most of these facilities, your Aadhaar number should have been linked with UAN (Universal Account Number).
Aadhaar is an important document for KYC verification as it contains details such as name, date of birth, address, photo etc. If you have provided your Bank account details in your UAN interface and authenticated your Aadhaar number then settlement of claims can be very quick and easy.
In this post, let’s discuss the different options through which you can link Aadhaar to EPF UAN.
The EPFO has very recently launched this online provision to link Aadhaar to your EPF account (UAN). You can submit your Aadhaar number to EPFO without login into your UAN member portal.
Under this eKYC portal, you also have the option to track your eKYC status online (track Aadhaar-UAN linking status online).
You can also link your UAN to Aadhaar by login into your EPFO’s UAN member portal as well.
Option 3 – In case, you do not have the internet facility or facing some technical issues, you can also seed your Aadhaar to UAN offline by visiting any of the EPF field offices (Common Service Centers).
Option 4 (Latest update) – You can now link EPF UAN to Aadhaar through UMANG mobile App also.
Latest News (13-Mar-2018) : The Supreme Court has extended the March 31 deadline for Aadhaar linkages (except for Govt Subsidies & Welfare schemes) till the constitution bench delivers judgement on the matter.

I have two EPF account in the same company. The first one is 478 another one is 2673. now 2673 account I have a UAN number. but 478 no UAN number. how I get a UAN number or merge the same account. kindly advise me.

Does the status against your Aadhaar is 'VERIFIED' in UAN interface home-page??
To update your father name details, kindly contact your employer and submit joint-declaration with them to the EPFO.

Some blog readers have suggested this option, the EPFO may take next set of actions.
But to process name correction requests, looks like, EPFO may take around 30 to 75 days.
30-75 day's? I have submitted it's before 5days Better we apply offline. I don't know what's wrong with pf office employees. When I have given request for name updation within 1hr I got SMS that it's approved from employer . OK leave it. Really thank you for your help doing a good job .

If detail in UAN are wrong, you need to contact your employer, thats the only option.
In case, they are incorrect in Aadhaar, you can update them online.

My employer was not supporting in approving Aadhaar.
So, I visited PF office and seeded aadhaar through them.
So still, It will be in employer hand to approve it or
it will approved n verified by EPFO.

It is written in brackets that PAN is not verified but in KYC, it is approved.
Will it affect the claiming/withdrawal process ?

i am getting problem to link aadhaar with UAN online. my name & all details correct with UAN & Aadhaar database.
i was successful to Generate OTP with UAN ,then i put OTP on the same and filled my aadhaar number & clicked on submit option ... i proceed then after there is my Aadhaar number & UAN showing :-
" i clicked proceed for Adhaar OTP verification"
option the error came & says --- 404 - Not Found??????? its showing repeatedly from yesterday what to do.
