Kempegowda Layout is the new layout being developed by BDA (Bangalore Development Authority). BDA has issued final notification inviting applications for Allotment of residential sites in Kempegowda Layout.
After years of delay, nearly 5,000 residential sites in Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout will be available for the general public. It is estimated that these 5,000 sites on over 300 acres covers only the first phase of the allotment. The sites which are being allotted in the first phase are located between Mysuru Road and Yeshwantpur, along NICE Road.

The overall plan is to develop 4,043 acres. Of these, 2,100 acres are presently in BDA’s possession where 20,000 residential sites in total will be developed and allotted in future.
As mentioned above, these 5,000 sites are being developed under the first phase. Under the second phase, around 5,000 more sites will be developed. Under the third phase, apartments will be constructed in Kempegowda Layout.
BDA aims to create 10,000 flats. Under the fourth phase, commercial spaces including offices, shopping malls and commercial spaces may be created.
BDA is giving around 60-day period to apply for these sites. The sites would be of the dimensions 20×30 sqft, 30×40 sqft, 40×60 sqft and 50×80 sqft.

Allotment list will be announced on Monday (July 4th Evening), If things are really true, Possibilities are, If BDA Genuine plans things properly, List will be announced first online on Saturday evening and the printouts will be pasted to notice boards and displayed, so Sunday (closed) and Monday crowd will be less and police an control the crowd. If BDA is again Lazy, Monday morning they will start printing and pasting the list and by evening it will be on notice board, full day heavy crowd will be there and definitely if there is any miss in genuine attempts big protest will happen. If it is not announced on Monday. BDA officials will say.. Sir.. habba sir, yelru oorig hogidhare.. next week banni. SITE BHAGYA siguthe.
There is no definite date announced by BDA till now in writing, then how do you say it will be published on saturday. All false, BDA trying to keep us away from agitating. They know people growing restless.
BDA Police will stop u from entering the premises at 11am, Public is not allowed to meet Class1 and higher officials till 3:00PM, Idea is that this will impact BDA work :P, I have been to BDA office several times, since 2003, back to Arkavathy layout scam, where we missed opportunity of allotment due to negligence of some clerk, he entered data as 3 instead of 7 attempts on Database. This was info was gather only after checking on RTI Act which came in 2005. When is spoke to Commissioner, he stated yes this lapse of service from BDA, we will allot site next time. If you want i can suspend the clerk for 6 months (Paid Leave - Clerk will enjoy his holiday), I told thats fine and got the records set and attached RTI copy this time to the application so that nobody dares to tamper my application. Specially if its a crowd they will not let you in at 11AM. 3pm is the right time to gather. And always NUMBERS are important. not just 5 or 10 people will work. Really i'm in if all want to gather on Monday July 4th 3:00PM - 3:30PM. This is not an Association, nobody will discuss or disclose their BDA Registration numbers. 100% no violence, no abusive language. Everybody has smartphone, anything spoke or done might be recorded, used against you to put behind bars. If you are giving requisition letter, it should be in Kannada only. This is being followed for long time now their. Remember only 15yrs residents in Karnataka can apply for site and hence knowing Kannada is expected. Its Thursday, If anybody from media is in contact that's fine. But this should go public that there will a gathering on Monday. That is very important.

(BDA ACT does not have Interest concept so 100% they will not give back money for interest if you go to court also, case wont stand. Notification clear in bold says NO INTEREST to INITIAL DEPOSIT)
3) Since there is a clause that any allottee should clear 100% amount in 60 to 90 days of allotment. BDA will take another 18months to 24 months to handover the Sites Legally, Until then everybody should have time to clear 100% amount. Since they have used up 6 months, just to announce the list to compensate. Also this case will stand in court on the base of Justice. asking for more time to pay the remaining about until complete handover.

Either BDA KIOSK or Canara bank Parking lot should be fine for gathering, Seniors are welcome to share there feedback and I would request Elders to talk there, since they carry more value. Use Logic and do Magic :)
If the Monday is too early, if many people cant gather, no point there to have a flop show. we can reschedule. But list is announced or not. The Agenda should be question to the Commissioner and the Chairman of BDA. There are two office, Commissioner's Boss is Chairman, Weekly once they have a public meeting as well.
BDAs rule denying interest beyond reasonable time can be contested. Nobody can frame rules against law of the land, so it can be contested and quashed. Thats why i appealed whether theres any Advocate applicant.
Lets keep monday as deadline for BDA , if things does not work by monday we need to fight at BDA office rather than doing virtual fight.

Is there anyway we can sue BDA? May be we can form a group, pool money & approach legally? The money paid as initial investment was not there in my account balance, I paid by taking interest. Waiting for such a long is really bad.

In my view, we definitely have case to demand interest for both successfil and unsuccessful for delay beyond 3 months. We are only asking for interest on our money which BDA wants to pocket. 3 months is more than reasonable time in this computor era. This delay is nothing but intentional for favourtism and make money from our deposit without being sincere to applicants. If everybody wants to wait till monday, we can all join at BDA office on TUESDAY 5th at 11AM. There is no point in waiting further.
Is there no Advocate among applicants who can help us file case in high court to get interest on our deposit. The proposed date MONDAY also not sure cause BDA is consistantly not honouring thier own words and fooling us. Dont take Monday seriously, this lazy Body most likely to disappoint us.
That's Right. There is no meaning in waiting... and we need to stand together and show our disappointment.

BDA set to become more transparent

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has taken up a slew of measures to make its functioning more transparent where all the information will be made available online.
A survey report by Janaagraha, an NGO, had mentioned about the discrepancies in the functioning of three civic bodies including BDA. The major charges were lack of transparency and huge mismatch in its estimated budget and actual expenditure. In a detailed press release, the BDA said it has entrusted the work of developing a comprehensive e-platform to Municipal Reform Cell as part of the e-governance process.
“Once this work is completed, which is likely in a month's time, all the disclosures highlighted by Janaagraha will be highlighted. Additionally, online payment of bills will also form part of this comprehensive package under development and contractors and suppliers will be able to view the status of their bills by logging on to BDA’s website,” the BDA said.
Regarding the mismatch in its estimated and actual budget, the BDA said the budgetary allocations, both for revenue and expenditure, were higher because the development of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout and Dr Shivarama Karanth Layout and construction of Peripheral Ring Road (PRR) were in the pipeline.
“While NKG Layout did not accelerate as planned due to problems and litigation related to land acquisition, the development of Dr Shivarama Karanth Layout was shelved because of a court verdict. The PRR did not take off as planned in view of the difficulty to find a lending agency, internal and external, to finance the huge cost of land acquisition,” the BDA said in a press release.
It asked the critics to look into these variations from the perspective of the “compelling unavoidable reasons hampering the achievement of the goals.” The development authority has set aside the suggestion for auditing by the empanelled chartered accountants saying that the CAG does the work for it.
Grievance meet on July 2
Bangalore Development Authority will organise a public grievance meeting on July 2 at 11am at BDA Divisional Office, BDA Commercial Complex, HSR Layout Sector 4. Rajkumar Khatri, BDA Commissioner will hear the grievances of people.

I feel they might plan to announce it before this meet.
At what time is the meeting?
I was thinking, Anyways things have already been delayed 6 months is fine, No Suicide / Murder reported for losing Money so there is not TV media coverage, one weekly update on Newspaper as NAALE BAA, However Lot of talking on this Blog but Zero on Social Media. BDA got its share, 6 months of Interest Free Deposits Money Approx 60 crores. BDA Official got their share by preparing list of sites allottees to influential and took bribe. Builders got their share by de-notification on Land and formed private layouts. Now you thinks, its time for common men's share (Public) share to grab those 5000 sites. I don't think so. If this list is not announced in another 3 days, Thurs,Fri, Sat. I will tell you, KARNATAKA STATE GOVT will ask for its share. Siddanna will again target vote banks - He will give SITE BHAGYA on EID ke Din. so till then you will have to wait. This could happen. I'm not targeting any community, even i have put Initial Deposit, every month end i pay interest without guarantee of site. 6 Months is long time. If all of us invested same money and saved Vijay Malya from running away, he would have atleast constructed a studio apartment for each family and on the inauguration day, he would have gift one full bottle as being grateful and saving him.

List of 5,000 sites
Following the BDA board meeting held on Wednesday, the first provisional list for 5,000 sites in Kempegowda Layout will be announced on Monday.
BDA chairman Mahendra Jain told Deccan Herald on the sidelines of the meeting that the provisional list will be announced after all administrative and technical procedures are over. By Monday, the first provisional list will be announced.
It will be after 13 years that Bengalureans will now have an opportunity to own a BDA site, after the failure of the ' jinxed' Arkavathy Layout. The list has been prepared based on the number of attempts, age and other reservations.
BDA commissioner Rajkumar Khatri said that earlier, it was announced that the provisional list will be put out on June 15, but it was held back because of technical reasons and committee problems. Now the committee was reconstituted and the provisional list is getting finalised. It will be made public by Monday and 15 days’ time will be given to people to file objections.

No assurance ,,,no clue wat is happening ...we all need to just wait and look for the mercy of BDA...cald the BDa office ...they say they are not aware of list announcement date .....today meeting if conducted or not no one knows ...if you observe no news in any of news paper ...rather than keeping fingers crossed every day...i think we all need to fight against BDA or let them take time as much they need and stop following up every day

It can be simultaneous. What is important is whether meeting took place and spproved. Or the sub committee has to approve. So it depends.
