Hi,
I am from North Karnataka. I am in Bengaluru for 10 years.
I have following questions.
1. I am belong to 2A - backward community and have salary more than one lakh. So which category I can apply ?
2. I have changed my rented house in Bengaluru recently so what are documents I need to attach like caste certificate or residential proof, etc?
Thanks,
Manjunath
Dear Manjunath,
You have to be a domicile of KA for atleast 15 years.
Hi Sreekanth,
That is fine. For that what kind of proof we need to submit.
Thanks,
Manjunath
Hi,
Can I apply multiple times with multiple persons (myself, wife, father,..). Is there any restriction on that ?
How long it might take for allotment ? and how long it might take for refund incase if I am not allotted a site?
Dear Vijay,
One needs to be a domicile of karnataka for atleast 15 years.
Application in different name is considered as a separate and independent application.
Hi Srikant,
Is there a special quota for ladies ?
I am staying in Bangalore for last 10 years in a rented house. Does it fetch some preference compared to non-residents of Bangalore ?
Dear Sreekanth,
I have already made three attempts, I have last two acknowledgements from bank whereas first attempt acknowledgements is missing , but I have details of application number, date and amount paid details, Earlier we never attached acknowledgement copy and only furnished App No., date and amount paid Please clarify
1. Is copy of acknowledgement is mandatory.
2. Three stamps of Bank along with the app No. and date is available on backside of registration card. Is it sufficient to attach the copy of registration card. BDA can cross verify with the records available with them.
3. Please also clarify any alternative way like affidavit or so to prove the attempts.
Dear Kumar,
I think in your case it is fine. Submit the proofs / details that you have along with the new application. Also, you can submit a copy of your registration card (both sides).
Dear Sri,
My brother is serving Soldier in Indian Army, In which category he should apply for high chance of site getting alloted
Dear Santhosh,
5% of sites are reserved for members of the Armed forces. So, your brother has to take final decision. I believe that it is better to apply in this category, as there is huge demand from general category.
I have applied for BDA Site for previous 2 attempts for 40*60 dimension, Now I need to change the dimension for 30*40. Please let me know whether I can apply for 30*40?? and also please let me know whether I can use same previous registration card and whether can I get same seniority??
Dear Balaraj,
Yes you can apply for 30/40 and you can also use old registration card. However you need to pay the difference amount and get the bank seal on backside of the card.
Dear Shreekanth,
I have lost my Registration Card. I would like to apply now. What I need to do now. Do I have to purchase new Registration Card. Kindly advise.
Regards,
Srinivas
Dear Srinivas..I believe that you may have to register afresh..
I was shortlisted in Arkavathy layout(not in the allotted list of 8813 sites),but Initial deposit was refunded in 2005 by BDA,since the issue to be resolved by the court. Even though various courts given decision to allot the sites but allotment still a nightmare and shortlisted applicants are in dilemma. Now I need a clarification on the following points;-
1.whether shortlisted applicants will be automatically considered for allotment in kempegowda layout
2.whether we will be considered in the prevailing rates of Arkavathy layout to allot as an alternative in kempegowda layout by applying now.
3. or Is there any chances thatI have to wait till allotment in Arkavathy layout.
Dear Rangaswamaiah ..I do not have answers to your questions. Kindly contact BDA.
I believe that you may have to wait for allotment in Akravathy layout only.
Hi,
This is my 4th attempt for a 50X80 site. Unfortunate, I am not able to track copies of my prior application in 2002. Aee we expected to provide copies of old applications? Does BDA retain old applications, with which we can make copies? How do they verify seniority?
Please advise.
Dear Deedhar..You may have to submit copies of acknowledgment (to prove that you have attempted for getting allotment). I am not sure about BDA providing info about old allotment details. As mentioned in the article, this whole process may or may not be that transparent.
Thanks. I also noticed that the application photocopies being 10 years old are not very clear. Finer aspects like application number and other details is not fully visible. Registration card was introduced somewhere in 2004/05 and does not capture prior attempts. Any idea, how bda validates these information...Thanks
Dear Deedhar,
Thank you for sharing your inputs. I have not information about how BDA validates the prior attempts data. Do share this information here if you get to know..
Hi,
Is the State Govt. Employees quota only applicable for serving employees? Will Retired State Govt. Employees not be considered?
Regards,
Ravikiran
Dear Janardhan..I think they are eligible to apply under the said category. Kindly check with BDA.
