Kempegowda Layout is the new layout being developed by BDA (Bangalore Development Authority). BDA has issued final notification inviting applications for Allotment of residential sites in Kempegowda Layout.
After years of delay, nearly 5,000 residential sites in Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout will be available for the general public. It is estimated that these 5,000 sites on over 300 acres covers only the first phase of the allotment. The sites which are being allotted in the first phase are located between Mysuru Road and Yeshwantpur, along NICE Road.

The overall plan is to develop 4,043 acres. Of these, 2,100 acres are presently in BDA’s possession where 20,000 residential sites in total will be developed and allotted in future.
As mentioned above, these 5,000 sites are being developed under the first phase. Under the second phase, around 5,000 more sites will be developed. Under the third phase, apartments will be constructed in Kempegowda Layout.
BDA aims to create 10,000 flats. Under the fourth phase, commercial spaces including offices, shopping malls and commercial spaces may be created.
BDA is giving around 60-day period to apply for these sites. The sites would be of the dimensions 20×30 sqft, 30×40 sqft, 40×60 sqft and 50×80 sqft.

Normally as per BDA rules it is 10 years lock in period i.e., you cannot sell till 10 years since the sale deed is executed only after the lockin period is completed till then you are not the owner of the site.

My has got alloted a bda site 30 yesrs back and he staying there,but i am staying seperatly. Can i apply for a bda site.
I am a software professional & working for an MNC. 22 years old with PWD. Presently staying with parents who have purchased a BDA site from a 1st allottee and constructed a house. At present I am financially independent and do not have any site/house in my name. Am I eligible to apply for BDA site to be allotted at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout.
If you are independent, you can apply for a site.
What does exactly the "Rule 10(3) of BDA Under Site allotment Rules 1984" says ? Kindly reproduce the same as it is if you that Rule 10(3) with you. Thanks
I have purchased 30'x40' BDA site in Bangalore about 8 years back from a first party (direct allottee from BDA) . Means this site is not allotted to me directly from BDA. I have constructed a house & staying at Present. Am I eligible to apply for a site to be allotted at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda layout from BDA as per Rule 10 (3) of BDA site allotment Rules 1984 ?

1. Just wanted to know after 31-Dec-2015 (last day for application submission) , how long does BDA takes to announce the names for whom the site is allotted.
2. How do we get the intimation on the same.
3. Once the site is allotted, do we get the bank loan before registration.

1 - No idea / no info (mostly in 30 days).
2 - Mostly you will get a registered post from BDA.
3 - Yes but again based on your income eligibility too.
