• When i called KG layout dedicated phone line 080 23440480 answer is changed,Initially they used to tell 1st week of oct now they are telling this month,delay agathe sir antha.

• I heard that BDA has been hesitating to publish the final list since they were undecided about the sectors / blocks for allotting in this Phase of allotment since as we know, works are not started in some of the sectors & blocks and in addition, some legal cases are pending. They want to publish the final list with site numbers or at least allot immediately to avoid any kind of the pressure for selective site’s allotment. Now, I believe, they are clear about it. Hopefully, we can expect the long waited final list soon . . . but how soon? - only God knows since no one knows - even in BDA.

  Sarakari kelasa Devara Kelasa (Please read it in kannada).
  Latest news is, BDA shall publish the final List on coming Friday (7-Oct-2016) or on Monday (10-Oct-2016, even though it is holiday they will update the BDA website). Commissioner is putting presser on both allotment and Engineering department. Otherwise we need to forget it until 3rd week of October.

  As all of us know Govt is struggling in other cases. For everything they need approval. And also BDA is making un-necessarily delay. They are testing our patience.

• As per yesterday Public TV news channel report at 10 PM,Final list is delayed due to Political presurre and lack of budget with BDA,As per interview with Rajkumar Katri he said Today allotment committee meeting is scheduled and everything will be decided today...

  • No disabled quota in site allotment, BDA tells HC

    BENGALURU, dhns: The Bangalore Development Authority on Monday informed the High Court that it cannot grant sites at concessional rates to the disabled.

    BDA advocate KN Putte Gowda submitted to the court that it is a policy decision that sites cannot be granted at concessional rates as the land to form the sites have been purchased by private parties. The development authority, however, has reserved 1% of sites for the disabled.

    Karnataka Rajya Vikalachethanara Rakshana Samithi has filed a PIL seeking directions to the BDA to set aside the notification issued on October 14, 2015, inviting applications for the allotment of 5,000 residential sites at Kempegowda Layout in Bengaluru. The petitioner's counsel Jayna Kothari argued that persons belonging to SC/ST category are getting sites at concessional rates. The BDA advocate said that the authority is not allotting any sites at concessional prices to any category of persons.

    The petitioner contended that the notification does not provide 3% reservation in allotment of sites to persons with disabilities. They also said that there was no mention of 50% concessional rate as per Section 43 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights & Full Participation) Act, 1995. The Disabilities Rules, 2006, also refers to concession, the petitioner contended.

    The petitioner's counsel said that government has not filed its statement of objections in the matter. The bench directed the state government to file objections in four weeks and adjourned the hearing.

• Today I called up and spoke with a person from PR Dept. She told me as per given info. to her, allotment will be published during 2nd week of this month and refund will be followed thereafter. When I insisted on deposit refun, she asked me to discuss with Finance team as she can't provide more info. than she's aware.

  • It is just ignore and carry on other routines. This government lacks transparency and making people to be on the edge always. No point in blaming anyone, we have to be blamed our self for believing this non performing guys.

    Second week is full of holidays so i doubt they will publish in Oct 2nd week.

  • probably provisional list allotees are bit frustrated to call BDA daily for updates, but still appreciate if somebody drops a note what they heard anyway.

  • I agree . This forum doesnt allow people to give opinions or hopeful guesses. They need assurance and proofs for the hopeful guesses. Patience is only mantra. Applicants should have learnt by now. Here nobody is close to BDA to give assurance or exact date..

• Any idea when are we going to get our money? I'm still paying my interest for the initial amount that I have taken. There would be many like me who are on trap like this. Media focuses on some shitty news & not bothered to talk about this.

  • You are right ... Don't know what to do. Wondering is this is the first time they are doing like this or all the time they have been doing like this, any idea ? For me this is the first time I have applied. All my saving for years I had paid with hopes of getting a piece of land & now sense the trap here neither money nor land. Every day first thing I check is BDA news. It's like good olden days .... where walking to government office only our Chapels get cut & worn but government employees will nicely enjoy the confront.
