Hi - I went on a pilgrimage and as a result, the travel agent deducted some amount towards TCS and gave me Form 27D as proof. Can I claim this amount in ITR? Please advise what needs to be done to claim this.

Hi,
Form 27D is a certificate of proof that collector has collected the tax at source and paid the same to the government. This proof is essential to the collectee (you) to claim the credit of tax in his/her Income Tax returns.
While filing your ITR, you will need to provide details of the TCS deducted and claim it.
