Hi, After 5 years, may I know what would you like to do with the principal amount or leftover corpus (if any), after withdrawals?? If you are totally dependent on this income, you may have to rethink if you can afford to take risk or not. Suggest you to select guarenteed returns products on high priority basis ie Post office MIS Scheme or PO Senior citizen savings scheme. Beyond these, you can consider debt options like Secured NCD issues with 3 to 4 year cumulative option (or) MIP MF - with SWP option. Kindly read: What are NCDs? Best MF MIP Options.
