Hi Team, I have a PF account and I have raised a request of withdrawal of my pf amount but the pf withdrawal request has been rejected due to name mis-match in PF account and Form 9. Kindly let me know how can I change my name in Form 9 as per PF account. Also let me know the procedure.

Hi Sreekanth,

Thanks for the reply. Yes it’s sure that I need correct my name in Form 9. As this feed as came from the PF portal in terms of rejection status.

Hi, The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation has decided to do away with the filing of PF Form 9. PF form 9 is a declaration that is given at the time of joining a new company. Currently, the formal sector employers are filing Form 9 in a physical format to intimate about the new joiners. Are you sure it is Form 9? Kindly check if your name format (Surname, Middle and First name) among EPF UAN, Aadhaar and PAN are same or not. The name format should match to make online claim. Related articles :
