Hi I have one PF account number and UAN associated with my previous employer and my new employer issued me the new PF number and new UAN number. In short, I have 2 PF numbers and 2 corresponding UAN numbers. I tried to fill Form 13 for transferring of one PF amount to my new employer PF account, but I faced the problem of joining date with the current employer. Last day of the previous employer: 24-01-2017 Joining day of my Current employer: 30-01-201 (but system showed it as 30-01-0017) So while submitting systems throws an error that joining date of the employer (current) must be greater than the last day of the previous employer because of  0017 instead of 2017(year issue). So what should I do now? I need to rectify the same. Please tell that how much time it will take and also procedure? Also, can I transfer the amount from one PF account to another if both have 2 associated UAN numbers?

Hi, the same is happening with me. When i am trying to transfer my previous account with current organisation it showing me the joining year as “0017” instead of “2017”, while all the details are correct from me present company side and showing 2017 in passbook as well. I guess there is some system problem only going with EPF department.

Hi, You can contact current employer and get it rectified at the earliest. Also, an employee should have only one UAN so when you transfer the funds from old epf account to new epf ac, old UAN will get blocked automatically.   Kindly read:   https://www.relakhs.com/two-uan-numbers-merge-deactivate/
