Hello Sir, I am investing in 3 different MF. 1) For short term goal:- Aditya Birla Sun Life Regular Savings fund- 2000 2) For Medium Term goal:- HDFC hybrid equity fund - 3000 3) For Long term goal HDFC mid cap opportunities fund -1000 Kindly share your opinion/suggestions on my picks.. Dear Renjith, Could you kindly define the periods for short/medium/long term according to you?

Hi Sir,

Thank You Sir for your Reply, According to me

1) Short terms 1-3 yrs
2) Medium term 3-5 yrs
3) Long term 10+yrs

Dear Ranjith, The listed funds are fine. But consider Hybrid Fund as almost as risky as typical equity fund. You may kindly have a little longer investment horizon for this as well. Regarding short term goal - Is this towards your emergency fund? May I know your investment objective for 1-3 years??

My short term deposit is aim for emergency needs, Do i need to rethink on this ? Is there any better option for same ?

Ok. Can be risky! You may consider Bank FD + Liquid Fund instead for this aim! Liquid Fund examples : Birla Liquid Fund, HDFC Liquid Fund, Quantum Liquid fund etc.

Good Morning.

Hope you and your family are doing good.

I have gone through your recent post Top 15 best Mutual Funds 2020. I knew your are very busy, however, need an advise from you on my investment in Largecap. I have invested around 1,00,000 on the below Large cap funds. In that Franklin India Blue Chip star rating got reduced. Shall I keep my money on FIBC fund or I can take it out and invest in other good Large cap.

Horizon Period would be 3+ years.

Franklin India Blue Chip – 1,00,000 (investment started as lump sum between Nov 2016 to Dec 2018).

ICICI Pru Bluechip – 1,00,000 (investment started as lump sum between May 2016 to Jan 2019).

Also need an advise from ABSL Pure value fund too. In this also invested 90,000 as lump sum in 2018. Value research changed to single star rating for ABSL and FIBC. I do not know why all the Franklin Funds ratings got changed.

Please advise me. Also planning to contact a paid advisor which is referred by you.
