Hi Srikanth, I have investing below funds around two years investing these funds for long term. Kindly please suggest which funds are large cap and which fund are small cap. below funds any overlaping between other funds.Please suggest. I have to invest lumsum amount 10 lac for 2 years period of time after i will use this money for purachase the apartment for down payment. So which one is best arbitrage funds or FD .Kindly suggest 5 best liquid or short term funds 1. Dear Harish, 1 - ELSS Tax saving fund (typically A Multicap) 2 - Small Cap Fund 3 - Multicap 4 - Aggressive Equity Balanced Fund 5 - Mid cap 6 - Large cap 7 - Value based Multicap fund 8 - Sectoral 9 - Aggressive Equity Balanced Fund Kindly note that Sectoral funds have high risk profile and hope you are aware of it. TATA Hyrbid fund has not been performing that well and you may swith to your existing HDFC Hybrid Fund. The tax advantage that Arbitrage funds had is no more available. Hence, you may consider FD/Ultra Short Term Debt fund for your lump sum investment for next 2 years. Kindly read :
