Dear,
I am investing in franklin focused equity fund(before it was high growth fund) in SIP method since 2016.
I want to confirm ,is it Multicap fund or Focused fund. In value research it is mentioned multicap and all other brokerages mentioned focused fund. pls clarify. i want to start new SIP in multicap fund, can i continue in this fund or start a new fund in multicap category. If new, then pls suggest a multicap fund for a time frame of 10yrs.

Hi,
Kindly note that Franklin High Growth Companies Fund has now been renamed as Franklin Focused Equity Fund. The fund category has been reclassified from Diversified equity to Focused equity.
Earlier -
Type of Scheme Open-end : diversified equity fund
Now -
Type of Scheme - An open ended equity scheme investing in maximum 30 stocks. The scheme intends to focus on Multi-cap space.
You may continue with your investments in this fund.
