how safe are the MF intermediaries like Fundsindia and the newer entrant Invezta , as we are required to give our PAN details, bank account numbers and address details to these private agencies while registering with them? i mean , is it O.K to give these details to these private players?

I believe that these websites do follow certain Website related Security measures to safeguard the data entered by the visitors/investors.
As far as you money is concerned, these are just online distribution or advisory platforms, your money finally gets invested in MF schemes managed by AMCs/fundhouses.
Personally, I invest through fundsindia too (disclosure).
