Hi Sreekanth, Hope you are doing well Last week I have Queried you about FD in International Bank,I have 2 more questions related to that.
  1. Does International Banks (i.e:Standard Chartered) are also back by Deposit Insurance for 1lakh like Private Banks in Case of Bankruptcy?
  2. In case of Bankruptcy how will Saving account behave in this Private and International Banks?

Dear Mukaram, 1 - Yes, they are covered with Rs 1 Lakh insurance. 2 - Kindly note that deposits can be Savings account balance, FDs, RDs etc.,
