Can we Also workout capital gains tax on debt funds without Indexation for FY 2017 18 after completing 36 months from date of investment.

Hi,
The long term capital gains on debt funds are taxable at the rate of 10% without the benefit of indexation.
But by applying indexation, you can actually reduce your long-term capital gains to lower your taxable income. The LTCG tax rate on non-equity funds is 20% (with Indexation benefit).
