Dear sir,
I have all my KYC details verified by my ex-employer in the UAN Portal. As my phone number linked with Aadhar is an old one and I cannot change it as I'm currently not in India, can I courier the withdrawal forms directly to EPFO office? Which address should I send the forms to and how can I locate which location is my PF office? Also, generally how long does the process take for them to transfer money into my account?
Thanks,
Bhavneet

Dear Bhavneet,
Yes, you can post the claim form (Consolidated Claim Form - Aadhaar) to the EPFO directly by India-post (kindly do not send registered post, Speed post is sufficient).
Enclose, copy of PAN card, Aadhaar card, cancelled blank cheque leaf, Form 15G (if required) etc.,
You need to submit claim form the EPFO regional office where your account is being administered.
You may check this with your ex-employer. Or based on your EPF number you can find out the relevant regional office address.
How to read your EPF Account number?
Before discussing about the online provision, let’s first discuss on EPF Account number format.
Old Format Example:
KN / 1234567 / 7654321. KN (Karnataka) here denotes the State in which EPF office is located. ‘1234567’ is Establishment code (company code – Max 7 digits) and ‘7654321’ is your EPF account number (max 7 digits).
In case if your company has one or more branches they may mention it along with the Establishment code. For example: KN/1234567AAA/7654321. In this case ‘AAA’ is the extension number.
The EPF old format was based on the 22 states available with corresponding 2 characters of region code, as listed below;
.
New Format:
New Region Code / EPFO Office code / Establishment code / EPF account number is the new format.
For example – PB / CHD / 1234567 / 7654321. PB denotes for Punjab, CHD for Chandigarh PF office, 1234567 stands for Establishment code & 7654321 is your EPF account number.

Can you please also suggest how long do they generally take to process the request and how long does it take for the money to be credited to my account?
Hi,
Offline claims are generally settled in and around 30 days.
There was a notification that if PF claim is more than Rs 10 lakh, only online claims are allowed.
But, that notification has now been withdrawn and the EPFO has again started accepting offline claims as well, irrespective of quantum of Claim amount..
