Hi Relakhs, This is Naga working in IT Firm. I did not made any investment for tax saving till now for the year 2016-17. Usually we declare the investments to our company and now the deadline for declaring the investment is over through my company. If i want to invest under 80C for 1.5 lakh can i declare on my own now or through any CA agent(since i cannot do this through my Employer) so that i can get tax benefit ? If so can you tell me how to do it. ?

Hi, You may plan your tax saving investments over the next three months for this FY 2016-17. As your employer is not going to consider your IT declaration, you can show the investments made when you file your Income Tax Return and pay taxes accordingly.
