HI,
I worked with company A from 2011 to Aug 2013, then in company B from Dec 2013 to Oct 2014. During the tenure in B, I got my UAN generated by Company B, and I transferred the PF amount from Company A to Company B's PF account. Then I rejoined company A in Oct 2014 and worked till Jan 2016. Now I wanted to go for PF withdrawal as it has been more than 2 months of leaving services, but i noticed that Company A had given a new UAN no., without asking for details of any previous one.
How should I proceed for PF withdrawal in this scenario... Kindly guide. I am in urgent need.
Thanks.

Hi,
When you rejoined the company A in Oct 2014, did you transfer the PF amount? (Total balance from Company B).
In case two UANs are allotted to you, in such a case, you are suggested to report the matter either to your ex- employer and through email to uanepf@epfindia.gov.in by mentioning, both - your current UAN and your previous UAN(s).
After due verification, the previous UAN(s) allotted to you will be blocked and the current UAN will be kept active. Later you will be required to submit a Claim to get transfer of service and fund to the current UAN (or) you can withdraw your PF balance (as in your case).
HI! Thanks Sreekanth for your prompt help.
No, had not transferred total balance from Company B, on rejoining Company A.
So, it means first all fund has to transferred to current UAN, then can withdraw all of it? How much time is estimated in this procedure...
Thanks again.

Hi,
That is the idea way. May be because, the EPFO may reject your withdrawal (two separate withdrawals) as you have two UANs with the same name & personal details.
Time-line, I am not very sure. You can check this with your ex-employer or the EPFO. Do let us know the status update.
