I understand that if your funds reach the Mutual Fund by 3 PM or 2 PM the NAV of that day applies to the purchase. In the morning at 07:30 AM I can see the NAV of previous day.
At what time I can see the NAV for Today.

Dear Kamalakar,
I believe that Mutual Funds declare closing NAV for a particular scheme during 8pm to 9pm daily.
So I do not the NRV at which the transaction is going to take place. I can only make a guess watching the Market Index applicable to the Fund.
One day I Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Direct Growth noted the NRV and calculated expected expected units based on the NRV and there was not much change. Perhaps the NAV did not move so much.
Yesterday I bought Tata Balanced Fund Growth Direct and noted the NRV and calculated expected units based on the NRV displayed. Today I found the NRV gone up by 1% thereby reducing my expected no of units by 1%.
Learning.
