Hi Sandeep,
1 - Kindly go ahead.
Read : Best Personal accident Insurance plans.
2 - Suggest you to opt for a basic cover. In case if your family has a history of any critical illness, you buy a stand-alone plan else you can opt for the rider. But kindly go through the rider terms & conditions thoroughly.
Read: ICICI Prudential's iProtect Smart Term plan Review.
Also, suggest you to buy an independent Health plan and do not depend entirely on your Employer's group cover.

HI SreeThanks for your reply.I had already gone through all the blogs posted by you . I have Already purchased the health plan from Religare last year for 5L With Super NCB . I will Go ahead in buying IPA from Bajaj covering of 20L as it covers self and spouse.  -- My consideration to go with this is they cover Temporary disablement , most Policy doesn't have that benefit. can u pls clarify me on the below point Term Insurance from ICICI for 60L  self with critical Cover of 10 L This Policy comes as Waiver of premium on Disability . I will not Add AD Rider as i don't see any added advantage . My Family has Critical Ill ness History -- Which will be Better to OPT , Rider or Standalone CI policy . Thanks Sandeep

Dear Sandeep, Yes, iProtect plan offers 'waiver of future premiums on PERMANENT Disability'.  Suggest you to consider stand-alone CI policy. As suggested, kindly read and understand the policy wordings before buying a CI policy.
