Dear Sreekanth - Once a person retires from govt service, does he/she lose all the privileges entitled to them earlier as a govt employee. For example, while applying for a BDA site, the moment I declare as a retired govt employee, I come under general category. In other words, a retiree loses all his/her identity and becomes a ‘persona non grata’. Is my understanding correct? Regards, Prakash

For the mentioned scenario, I believe that BDA may classify such Applicants under 'special category' - Govt employees only.
You may also cross-check this with the BDAs.
