I was trying to withdraw my EPF ammount online. but my claim was getting rejected every time. then i raised the issue to EPF grivience now they have given the reason as the claim is getting rejected because the employer has not submitted the Form 9. Now what should I do?
I have activated my PF number and UAN number. and also have linked all necessary documents with it. I have tried to contact my Previous employer HR number of times about the issue but they aren't responding. can i raise this issue with EPF grievance?

Hi,
The Form-9 is filed by the formal sector employers to intimate about their new employees to the EPFO.
If possible try to speak to your HR in person on this or check with the EPFO through grievance about the possible alternative to withdraw the funds from your EPF account.
Without submitting Form 9, I am not sure how EPFO can generate an EPF number to an employee..
" Previously Form 9 in hard copy need to be submitted by employer to respective EPFO office for allotment of PF number to the employees including employee’s personal information. But with effect from 01/10/2017 it is order for the Discontinuance of Form – 9 in physical form by EPFO.
The EPFO body has taken this step in the wake of rapid computerisation in EPFO as an initiative towards Electronic Paper Free Organisation.
The official said that since employee master (roll) is available in the PF system containing all relevant details of the employee like name, gender, DOB, DOJ, father’s/spouse’s name as well as Aadhar & bank details fetched through electronic challan (PF return), then the submission of Form-9 in physical form by the employer can be discontinued. This would boost e-governance for fully electronic settlement of claims and also facilitate the employers in ease of doing business by reducing their paper work.
But for those employee’s who’s joining date is prior 01/10/2017, for them employer still need to submit Form 9 in hard copy with their respective PF office."
Hi,
I have two UAN numbers from same employer. Can I claim or draw complete amountfrom one of them which is not active?
Hi,
An Employee can have only one active UAN.
Have you activated two of them?
Your current EPF a/c would have been linked to only one UAN. If you are currently employed and contributing to EPF scheme then you can not make full PF withdrawal. Related articles :
