Am having an account in ICICIDirect.com, I got an advice from them to change this regular account to Basic service Demat Account (0 brokerage) Kindly let me know Investing in MF through ICICIDirect demat account with zero brokerage is equivalent to MF direct plan investment

Hi, As far as I am aware they charge a fee on mutual fund transactions (like for ex, Rs 100 per SIP). I believe they do not offer Direct plans. Kindly re-check with them. Do note that demat account is not mandatory to invest in Mutual Fund Schemes.
