I have following questions related to Katha, Kindly clarify .
- My mother is planning to gift plot to me, at present katha is on her name. I was told that e katha is mandatory before traferring the katha from my mother name to my name.
- What is the procedure to apply for e katha ( plot comes under Jigani (bangalore) )
- How much it costs to get e-katha

Hi,
I believe that you can complete the Gift deed execution and then can apply for e-Khatha on your name (Transfer of name from your mother to your name in revenue records).
The total cost including EXTRA payments can be in the range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000. Also, you need to make sure that all property tax dues (if any) should be cleared.
