Good morning Mr Sreekanth Hope everything is fine at your end. I request your clarification on the following : My pension for March 2021 will be credited on 2nd April 2021.  I would like to know whether this amount is to be taken in FY 20-21 or FY 21-22 for income tax computation. I started receiving pension from July 2020. Kindly help. Thanks and regards Narasimhan

Dear Narasimhan ji, You can consider it as an income for FY 2021-22 (AY 2022-23).
