Hi, You may invest some lump sum amount in MIP fund. The remaining Corpus amount can be invested in STPs (Systematic Transfer plans) from HDFC Liquid fund to HDFC Balanced fund & Franklin Treasury Mangmnt A/c Fund / Franklin Cash mangnt A/c fund to Franklin Prima plus fund. But, kindly note that STPs are treated as normal redemptions and hence the gains from Liquid funds are subject to taxes.
