Hi Sreekanth Reddy, I am a NRI i have a NRI Bank account in HDFC bank, can i open NPS Account, in the registration only 10 bank names given. please suggest me how can i open NPS account .

Hi, Yes, Non-resident Indians (NRIs) can now open National Pension System (NPS) accounts online if they have Aadhaar Card or PAN card. You can visit eNPS portal and open NPS account. Read: http://www.relakhs.com/enps-portal-open-new-nps-account-online-contribute-nps-ac-online/

Thanks Sreekanth Reddy, actually i am  Age is 43 years,is it better for me to get benefit with this NPS Account.

  As of now, with the current taxation rules, NPS is not a great investment tool.  Personally, I prefer MFs to NPS for my long-term goals (given a choice). Kindly go through below article; http://www.relakhs.com/national-pension-scheme-nps-drawbacks/
