Today I purchased sbi blue chip direct growth fund for 1000/- sip monthly through the AMC. please suggest some more funds to invest. Is debt fund and FD s are same??? which is best. Thank you.

May I know your investment time-frame?
FDs offer you a fixed and guaranteed returns, they have negligible risks.
However, returns on debt funds are not guarenteed and they do have some risks associated with them.
Debt funds can be more tax efficient than FDs.
