Hi, The three mentioned funds are good ones. But may I know the reason for investing in ICICI AMC schemes only? May I know your financial goals (also your spouse's) and investment time-frame? thanks for the reply.. i just go thru the fund house and selected the funds is it wrong ?, i started it one month back. pls let me know why is it wrong with icici For me, To buy house - 7 yrs time frame. If the fund doing well , i can continue with full long term. For my spouse- Just to support the family whenever needed , wealth to grow. extra source of money. u can suggest me the other  fund house and funds for my spouse . i think of preparing a separate portfolio for her (same diversification)..pls advice

Hi, Kindly note that there is nothing wrong with your choice of funds. But advisable to invest in multiple fund house schemes. You can continue with your investments. Spouse MF portfolio - So, does she require to withdraw the investments made in mutual funds if any need arises (or) is it for long term wealth accumulation purposes?

Hi, For a 3 to 5 year term horizon - You may pick one equity oriented balanced fund, one MIP aggressive fund and one large cap fund. Ex - HDFC Balanced fund, Birla MIP II Wealth 25 fund & Birla Frontline equity fund. Read: http://www.relakhs.com/best-monthly-income-plans-india-mutual-funds/

Hi, Is tax saving one of your objective? If no, you may skip Axis LTE.  Kindly note that units allotted under each SIP have a lock-in period of 3 years.
Sreekanth Staff answered 9 years ago
Hi, Out of the listed funds, only Axis LTE is an ELSS Tax saving fund, hence the units allotted under this fund will have 3 year lock-in period.
