Hi,
May I know your financial goals, investment objective & time-frame ??
Kindly go through below articles; My main financial goal is to let my money grow and I can withdraw when required. No sepcial requirement.
Time frame: No special time frame. If not required then I can keep it in MF and withdraw after 25 years. As your acticle says make keep three type of financial goals (short, mid and long)
So I am thinking of keeping PPF + Axis + the better return MF(for long term)
Balanced funds as medium if required otherwise I will let it grow.
Liquid funds as short I have selected funds reading your articles and some other sites. But I need your expert advice. Some of the funds are overlapping but it is like 10-20%. Which should be ok?
As Axis is equity funds and all other funds put some share in equity funds.

Hi, As you do not have any specific time-frame, are there any chances to withdraw money in short period? What is the probability? How dependent are you on these investments? Kindly note that time-frame is based on ones Goals and are not based on products. PPF is a product meant for long-term savings like for Retirement.

I am making my portfolio more for retirement or early retirement. If everything goes well then there is very less chances I am going to withdraw the money soon. But no one knows the future. Probability to withdraw can be a special case which no one wants in life like accident, major illness, etc. And even if this happen then Liquid funds will help me in this case? yea I know, PPF is locked in for minimum 15 years and I am planning to extend it to 5 more years. So total 20 years. I am investing in PPF to be a safe side.
As I read "Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risk".
Should I invest less in PPF? Also I understand I need to keep an eye on the portfolio and add or remove funds as required.
