Yes, one can buy multiple term life insurance policies..there should not be any challenges for your nominee to claim, if you provide the required details in the proposal form(s) accurately/honestly.
You should educate your nominee on how to claim from the respective life insurance companies in case there is a claim...
Having a term life insurance from one company makes nominee's life easy as he/she has to claim from one company only.
