HAI SREEKANTH I AM BEGINNER FOR SIP INVESTMENT PLEASE GIVE ME A BEST ADVICE TO INVEST IN SIP MUTUAL FUND. MY PLAN IS 5 YEARS ONE SIP, 10 YEARS ONE SIP, 15 YEARS ONE SIP, 20 YEARS ONE SIP. MY AGE IS 37 AND SALARY IS 65K, I HAVE PLAN TO INVEST 15K IN SIP. ALREADY I INVEST FOUR GROWTH MUTUAL FUND BELOW MENTIONED HDFC TOP 100 FUND REGULAR PLAN CURRENT VALUE RS.17531 RELIANCE DIVERSIFIED POWER SECTOR GROWTH CURRENT VALUE RS.9655 SUNDARAM EQUITY MULTIPLIER FUND CURRENT VALUE RS.21649 TATA EQUITY OPPORTUNITIES FUND REGULAR GROWTH RS.21638 THIS IS GOOD INVESTMENT OR OTHERWISE SWITCH TO OTHER FUND. Dear Sathish, Sector oriented funds like Reliance Power fund can be very risky. Do invest in them if you understand the sector and after creating your Core portfolio. Sundaram fund is a multicap fund. There are better alternatives in this category. Ex : Franklin High growth companies, ICICI value discovery etc., Same is the case with TATA fund.
