Dear Harleen, For long-term, you may consider Dynamic Bond funds. Read: https://www.relakhs.com/debt-funds-types-benefits-risk-vs-return/ https://www.relakhs.com/best-debt-mutual-funds-india-top-debt-funds/

Hi, If you can afford to take more risk, yes why not, you can consider Hybrid debt funds too like MIP fund. https://www.relakhs.com/best-monthly-income-plans-india-mutual-funds/ (Above answer is in reply to your question posted as PVT)

Should I invest in ICICI prudential regular income fund (Direct, growth) which generate 8-10% returns, low risk? OR MIP debt fund where returns around 8-10% and high risk?

Hi, Kindly note that the returns on both these funds are not guaranteed. An MIP fund can have slightly higher allocation to Shares (Equity) when compared to a pure Debt-oriented funds. I believe that ICICI Reg income fund is also a hybrid (debt oriented) fund similar to MIP only. As it is a conservative scheme, the fund may invest 0 to 5% in Equities. So, in MIPs itself, you can find conservative or aggressive funds. In aggressive funds, the equity allocation can be up to 15%.
