Hi Sreekanth, Two years ago,I had invested Rs.2.5 Lakhs in Birla SL regular saving fund ( previously MIP-II wealth 25 plan). I find this has become conservative hybrid and less perfoming fund. I want to redeem it into some other fund for next 3 -4 years. Please advise which would be better ?

Hi, Bilra Reg Savings fund has generated around 11% returns in the last 5 years, which is decent from an MIP fund. The 3 year returns are around 8.75%. Do note that it is a conservative Hybrid fund. Also, the fund's portfolio allocation has undergone some change after the implementation of the SEBI's re-categorization rules . You may move to Short term Debt Fund like Franklin Low Duration Fund. But, kindly do not expect fantastic returns from Debt funds in this FY.
