I purchased and registered an apartment 1.5 years back. I've not yet done the khata on my name. Now, I want to resell the property. So, do I need to get the khata done on my name before selling it? The property is still under construction.

Is this an independent property or flat?
If it is under-construction, you can not get Khatha in your name.
Is the existing Khatha for Plot?

Hi.. You can get Khatha done for individual homes after the completion of the Construction and after receiving the Occupancy certificate. You may kindly take help of a trusted local civil lawyer.
