Hello Srikanth,
This is Parveen, what i want to know is my husband has a Pradhan mantri Jan dhan a/c. which is as per my knowledge a zero balance a/c. But the bank people are deducting money from his a/c. for maintainennce of minimum balance every month, secondly if he uses other bank to draw money once in a month their also they are deducting money Rs. 22.25 per single transaction although we have 3 swipes optiona from other bank's per month. Thirdly in the month of May 2016, he was eligible for a overdraft from the a/c., but the Andhra Bank where he has a/c. is telling him to contact head office, go there, here and not responding nor providing the ODF.They are also informing him to maintain a minimum balance in the a/c. Simply they are cheating and deducting money unnecessarily. Please tell me how to solve this problems?
Regards,
Parveen

Hi,
Looks like the service charges of Rs 22.25 is surely due to ATM or card related transactions.
Kindly go through below article :
http://www.relakhs.com/atm-transaction-charges-atm-free-limit/
Jan Dhan Yojna has no requirement of minimum balance. Maximum of 4 withdrawals a month including ATM withdrawal.
After six months of maintaining the account, Overdraft facility upto Rs.5000/- is available in only one account per household, preferably lady of the household.
You can contact the Jan dhan team for grievances/complaints @ 1800 11 0001 (or) you can submit the complaint online, click here..
