While paying income tax in online, I have wrongly entered the payment details. I have to enter 68 rs in interest column but I filled 68 rs in penalty column. What will happen sir?

Hi,
I believe that the IT dept will adjust this amount towards relevant dues. Also, the amount is less than Rs 100, and this should not be an issue at all, as the IT dept rounds off dues of up to Rs 100.
In case, you still want a confirmation from the IT dept, suggest you submit your query at e-nivaran portal, you will surely get the info from the IT dept.
