Apropos recent fiasco in IL & FS, how do I find out if the M F's I am invested in, are affected. Secondly, has it affected only debt/ liquid/ Cr risk funds, or eq fund are also affected

Dear Anand,
If you are investing through mutual funds, kindly do not get too worried about individual Stock performances.
You can check the concerned MF Scheme portfolios to know whether your funds have exposure to this Company Stocks/Bonds.
I suggest you check if the fund in your mutual fund portfolio has invested in the commercial papers or debt instruments offered by IL & FS.
If that's the case, you either exit your mutual fund investment to avoid any risk, or if you do have the liberty to take some amount of risk I suggest that you stick with your investment.
