I HAVE SELECTED THREE FUNDS UNDER MID CAP CATEGORY TO START NEW SIPS. I USED YOUR OVERLAP CALCULATOR AND ALL RESULTS WITH IN 25%. NOW SHOULD I INVEST IN ALL FUNDS OR ANY SHOULD I CHEEK ANY OTHER CRITERIA ?
FUNDS ARE -
MIRAE ASSET EMERGING BLUECHIP FUND
BIRLA SL PURE VALUE FUND
HDFC MID CAP OPPORTUNITY FUND

Hi,
There is no right or wrong answer to your query.
To keep it simple, for convenience sake, for easy tracking purpose etc better to limit number of funds in ones portfolio.
Just because, the overlap is low, we cant go on and pick multiple funds (though they may be decent ones).
Also, the portfolio allocation of funds may change in future depending on market conditions or fund inv strategy.
