Financial Planning (MF investments – Long Term)

Dear Shreekanth, I'm a regular follower of your posts and it has helped me a lot in managing personal finances. I'm 38 years old male and investing around 34,000/month in various schemes (Direct mode-SIP investment) since last 18 months. Birla Sun Life Equity Fund-(G) 2000 Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund-(G) 3000 Birla Sun Life Top 100 Fund-(G) 2000 Franklin India PRIMA FUND-(G) 2000 Franklin India PRIMA PLUS-(G) 4000 HDFC Balanced Fund-(G) 3000 HDFC Mid-Cap Opportunities Fund-(G) 2000 ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund-(G) 4000 L&T India Prudence Fund-(G) 2000 Franklin India High Growth Companies Fund -(G) 2000 ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund - (G) 2000 Kotak Select Focus Fund-(G) 2000 L&T India Value Fund- (G) 2000 SBI BlueChip Fund-(G) 2000 Objectives and time horizon: 1. I'm saving for my daughter\'s education and marriage. Time horizon: 18-24 years 2. My retirement: 22 years 3. Wealth creation I want to generate a corpus of about 4 - 5 crores in around 20 years to attain these goals. I have sufficient life-insurance (Term-plan) & health insurance. I feel I have too many MF schemes and want to reduce them. However, I'm finding it very difficult and confusing. Kindly look at my portfolio and suggest recommendations. Regards, Vandan
