Hello Srikanth, I was analyzing our asset allocation in different caps of equity funds for myself and my wife. I got a feeling that we are investing lesser in Mid/Small caps as of now. Our investment horizon is 10+ years and we are not going to touch these investments before then hence thought that we could be little more aggressive and increase our Mid/Small cap allocations. In the below calculation, I have assumed ELSS as diversified/multicap funds. Could you please see below and provide your inputs on same - My Portfolio Investor Fund SIP date Fund Category Amount Me L&T India Value Fund 1st Diversified 5000 Me SBI Bluechip 5th Large Cap 5000 Me HDFC Equity 10th Diversified 5000 Me SBI Bluechip 15th Large Cap 5000 Me ICICI pru LTE 15th ELSS 3500 Me Axis LTE 25th ELSS 3500 Me Franklin India Smaller companies 25th Small Cap 5000 Wife's Portfolio Wife ICICI Prudential Focused BlueChip Equity-G 1st Large Cap 5000 Wife HDFCCapitalBuilder 5th Diversified 6000 Wife Birla Sunlife taxplan 10th ELSS 5000 Wife SBI Bluechip 10th Large Cap 5000 Wife HDFC Balanced 15th Diversified 6000 Wife SBI Bluechip 20th Large Cap 5000 Wife Franklin India tax shield 20th ELSS 5000 Wife HDFC Midcap Opp 25th Midcap 6000   LargeCap Multicap Mid/smallcap Me 31.25% 53.12% 15.62% Wife 34.88% 53.48% 11.62%
