I was analyzing our asset allocation in different caps of equity funds for myself and my wife. I got a feeling that we are investing lesser in Mid/Small caps as of now. Our investment horizon is 10+ years and we are not going to touch these investments before then hence thought that we could be little more aggressive and increase our Mid/Small cap allocations.
In the below calculation, I have assumed ELSS as diversified/multicap funds. Could you please see below and provide your inputs on same -

Hi,
You may multiple funds from same fund category Large cap & Multi-cap. Kindly check their portfolios overlap and try trimming down the number and you may increase the investment amount allocation to your existing Mid/Small cap funds, HDFC Mid-cap & Franklin Smaller cos fund.
