Hi Srikanth, My mother undergone Dental treatment (Root Canal Treatment) recently so, Can I show these bills under IT exemption.

Hi, Kindly note that there is separate IT section or provision to claim in specific to the said treatment. However, you can claim Medical allowance / through Medical insurance under Section 80D. "Medical bills incurred for self, spouse and children can be submitted for reimbursement. Medical bills of parents and siblings who are wholly dependent on the employee can be claimed."
