I have made Long Term cap Loss on Equity Mfs in April 2018.And I made Long term cap gains on sale of residential property sold in April 2018
Will I be able to offset longterm cap gains of sale of residential property in april 20118 with Long term cap loss of equity Mfs sold in april 20118 in IT return of AY 2019-20

Hi,
As LTCG on Equities/Equity Funds are subject to taxes from FY 2018-19 / AY 2019-20 onwards, any losses realized on Equity Mutual Funds can be set off against Long Term Capital Gains on other Capital Assets (like Property).
