Do I have to report in ITR the capital gains on equity oriented MF sold after 1 year from the date of purchase? If the answer is yes,as the CG in this case  is exempted from IT where do I report this in ITR?

Hi, Yes, you can declare the exemption income on realised Long term capital gains from sale of Equity funds under the EI (Exemption income) section of ITR u/s 10(38).
