I have some queries related to EPF withdrawal. Looking forward for your support on the same.
I am currently employed in abroad.
In total I have worked for 10 years in India i.e., did PF contribution for 10 years (but not continuously).
But I have breaks(no job) in between where there was no PF contribution done from my side for almost an year.
Due to the break I couldn\'t do PF contribution continuously.
I worked for less than 5 years in the last company and its been more than 60 days since I resigned from the company in India.
If I login in UAN portal, the status of my profile is displayed as \'Cessation(short service)\'.
Mentioned below are my queries:
1) Income tax on PF withdrawal is applicable for me (due to breaks)?
2) After how many months of resigning(no PF contribution) EPF interest calculation will be stopped?
Appreciate your response in this subject.

1 - May I know if you have been allotted more than one EPF UAN?
2 - Have you consolidated all your previous EPF accounts? Did you transfer the funds from your previous EPF accounts to the latest one?
Yes, income tax can be applicable for non-contributory period.
As per the latest notification, interest is payable even for Dormant EPF accounts till retirement age of 55 years.

Did you transfer the funds from your previous EPF accounts to the latest one? In total I have worked in 4 companies(A, B, C and D). D being my last company worked. PF Transfer from A to B was done.
PF Transfer from B to D was done.
PF transfer from C to D was NOT done as online PF transfer did not work when I tried. Thanks for sharing the links. I shall go thro the same.

If your recent employment was around 5 years, not sure why your service period is termed as 'Short service' one.
Suggest you to submit your grievance to the EPFO as well, online..click here..
