I am private tutor, 29, investing in MFs for last 3 years. I had started two SIPs ( both ₹1000 each) of same fund house, for a time horizon of 4 years.

SBI Magnum Equity fund
SBI Magnum Balanced fund

After new SEBI's norms on categorization on MF schemes, SBI has proposed to change fund attributes of Magnum Equity fund to thematic (ESG theme) fund. Now I have no idea about thematic fund & what is ESG ? Is it safe to continue my SIP on Magnum Equity for next 3 years ? My risk appetite is moderate to high. Thanking you Dipanjan
