understand that EPF cannot be transferred to NPS so please advice whether i can withdraw amount in epf and What are the procedures.
If no. Then how do i keep this epf account active.

Hi dear,
Sometime during last month, Govt proposed a One-time option for EPF subscribers to PORT their PF funds to NPS scheme & vice-versa. But there has not been any update on this.
So, as of now, one can not switch from EPF to NPS.
You can withdraw your PF money (full balance) subject to TDS (Tax deduction at source). If your UAN is active and KYC is approved by your ex-employer then you may submit new UAN based EPF withdrawal forms directly to EPFO.
